Fees and medical aid
What it costs, and how it is billed
The two questions patients ask most before booking, answered here rather than on the phone.
Medical aid
How claims are handled
There are two separate questions here, and most patients mean the second one.
Does the practice submit the claim for me
Yes. The practice submits your claim to your medical aid directly. You do not pay the full account on the day and claim it back yourself.
Which schemes
All South African medical aid schemes are accepted, and claims are billed at the scheme tariff. What your scheme then pays depends on your plan and the benefits you have left, so bring your card and your identity document.
What to bring
Your medical aid card and identity document, and any medication or remedies you are currently taking. If you are claiming yourself, you will be given an invoice carrying the practice number 0804924 and the relevant codes, which is what your scheme needs.
Please confirm the fee when you book
Fees are not yet published on this page. Ask when you book and you will be told the fee for the appointment you are booking, so there is nothing unexpected on the day.

Book a consultation
Ask about the fee when you book. Send your name and what you would like to be seen for, and the practice will come back to you with a time.
If this is an emergency, do not use this page. Go to your nearest emergency department or call an ambulance service directly.
